This paper aims to present and briefly discuss policy documents focusing on the internationalisation of higher education in Malaysia their implication international student withdrawals. Numerous policies guidelines have been developed by Ministry Higher Education propel as hub this region. However, current statistic does not seem support national goal increase enrolment 200,000 2020 or be an excellence. Existing literature indicates that there has never any research studies detail issue withdrawals from pursuing Malaysian institutions.
